Our life has been revolving around this little human so if we haven’t told everyone enough or forgot to tell you at all (super-shame on us). . .all our friends and family, how grateful we are. . .THANK YOU! Seriously. You are the best, yes we are talking about you.
In Hansen fashion, Ms. Hazel Catherine Williams was LATE, or as my hippy-dippy hypnobirthing class would say, she arrived when she was good and ready.

the day before our dive into parenthood
Here she is, all of 1 day old here:

Perfect.
Being a mom makes things click. In other words, when I see Hazel smile, it’s the same feeling as if you have just heard you got the job you wanted at the same time you heard your favorite song on the radio at a sound level that made you dance, all the while on your way to lunch to meet up with a friend you haven’t seen in a while. . .it’s that kind of feeling times 100. Mix in a little chaos and unpredictability, and you have the first four months of being a new parent.
Having a baby makes you want to join a gang, like a super parent gang that knows all the developmental “milestones” and knows all the toys, and how to best transit baby from bath to diaper without getting peed on. Then again, this is all the “fun” stuff. . .so without further ado, I will place my brag pictures for all to see.

So tiny. . .

Finally home and sleepy-beepy

Wowsers. . .one month!
